Leadership

lisaLisa Hoegler
Founder & Executive Director
Lisa is the Founder and Executive Director of LA South REIA and an active full-time investor. She discovered her passion for investing after joining a REIA in Charlotte, NC and purchasing her first property in 2004. Lisa credits the experienced members of that REIA for giving her the confidence and the support to do her first deal. Since that time, Lisa has been the principal investor on hundreds of rehab and rental properties. Today, Lisa’s primary focus is growing her note portfolio and coaching members of the LA South REIA toward successful investing careers, as others had done for her. Her areas of real estate expertise include rehabbing, creative financing, private lending, and cash flow properties. Prior to becoming a full-time investor, Lisa was a corporate finance executive for Fortune 500 companies such as Bank of America, Delta Air Lines, and Fiserv. She received her M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Science from Cal State Long Beach. Lisa is proud to call the South Bay her home.


jonJon Garnett
Rehab Subgroup Leader
Jon has been active in real estate and investing for almost two decades. He is a licensed contractor who began his career in Texas before relocating his family to Southern California in 2012 to flip houses full-time. With numerous wholesales and hundreds of flips under his belt, Jon now coaches new investors while still maintaining his ever-growing rehab business. Whether hosting a national educational webinar, leading the LA South REIA Rehab Subgroup, or walking a property with his Revolution Flip coaching students, Jon teaches his students the four pillars of investing responsible for his success: Networking – Numbers – Negotiation – Integrity. anthonyAnthony Walker
Multi-Family Subgroup Leader
Anthony is a managing broker with Buckingham Investments, overseeing operations for their Torrance office. Just as Buckingham Investments has been doing for over 50 years, Anthony seeks to be a trusted advisor by assisting members of the LA South REIA achieve financial independence and retirement security through investments in multi-family income property. He believes that real estate wealth is not created only at the time of purchase, but well before the investment is made through education and planning. Practicing the investment philosophy he teaches, Anthony has also developed an extensive portfolio of his own income property, primarily located throughout the Greater South Bay of Los Angeles. Anthony received his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Southern California and his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. jasmineJasmine Willois
Note Buyers Subgroup Leader
Jasmine has over 15 years of leadership, banking, sales, mortgage, and real estate investing experience. Over time, Jasmine has redirected her investing focus from rehabbing properties to rehabbing notes. After watching other investors struggle to navigate the distressed debt world, she founded The Note Assistance Program in 2014 to profit from historic inventories in this new asset class. In addition to mentoring her students, Jasmine actively co-leads the LA South REIA Note Buyer Subgroup and the California Note Investor Meetup in Orange County. She has developed a loyal following from LA to San Diego and has built a reputation for her boundless energy and dedication to her note students. Prior to becoming a full-time investor, Jasmine’s professional experience included executive financial roles at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Homecomings Financial. sheilaSheila Miller-Nelson
Cashflow 101 Host
Since beginning her investment career in 2014, Sheila and her three partners at 4 Friends Properties, LLC have been on a path to get out of the rate race. Sheila and her team focus on rehabbing and presently working to grow their rental and note portfolios. Sheila is passionate about networking with seasoned investors, but enjoys educating new investors on the fundamentals of investing by hosting Cashflow 101 games. Learn more about Cashflow 101
